The Heritage

             The Sainte-Marie's Cathedral in Auch

It is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a major way to Saint Jacques de Compostela, St. Mary's Cathedral is one of the newest cathedrals of France. Its construction began in 1489 and lasted 200 years. Its majestic Renaissance facade is flanked by two towers of 44 m.
Inside, we can admire the eighteen windows Arnaut de Moles (XV) distributed within ten chapels illustrating the themes of the Bible.

    The tower of Armagnac and the monumental staircase

Located just behind the Sainte-Marie's Cathedral, Armagnac tower 40 meters high was built in the fourteenth century and served as a prison. Its sevens stages correspond to a cell.
At his feet, the monumental staircase built in 1863 consists of three hundred and seventy steps and connects the upper town to the lower town. Halfway, there is the famous statue of d'Artagnan erected in 1931.

 

                Flaran Abbey in Valence-sur-Baise

Founded in 1151, Flaran Abbey is one of the most unspoilt South West of France. You can discover the monastic buildings and gardens of the Cistercian entire twelfth century, rebuilt until the eighteenth century.
As the Great Sites of Midi-Pyrénées, Abbey offers numerous cultural activities and houses the Departmental Conservation of Heritage and Museum Department

The Cathedral Saint-Pierre La Romieu

Classifed World Heritage Site by the UNESCO, the church is a magnificent example of Southern Gothic architecture.
